This section covers only the front axle. All components relating to the suspension - springs and stabilizer bar are described in a separate section. The mechanism of front wheel suspension consists of a rack with built-in shock absorbers, transverse lower wishbones, stabilizer bar (not on all models) and transverse leaf spring. Between the ends of the stabilizer bar and the upper surface of the supporting beam of the bridge on both sides mounted connecting rods. Both ends of rods fitted with rubber bushings, which without a threaded joint are placed on the ends of the stabilizer beams and cervix. The stabilizer is attached to the underbody.

Both control arm attached to the rear side of the frame and the front are connected via a ball joint to turn away from the hub body and the knuckle. Strut are attached to the hub mechanism with four bolts. The upper end of the damper is screwed to the vehicle body. In Fig. 197 shows how the front suspension mechanism. Depending on the modification of front axles mounted vehicles of different types. Front axle VL 0/6 CE-1,6 installed on models 208D and 212D series 901 and 902 (designation 730.408). However, these models can also be installed to bridge the designation 730,410. Models 308D and 312D series complement the bridge 903 VL 0/7 CE-1,6 labeled 730,409. Model 412D is provided with a bridge VL 0/8 CE-1,75 designation 730,411. These data are needed when purchasing spare parts.
