Removal and installation of the glove compartment

1. Remove the central console, refer to the appropriate section.
2. Remove the top of the center console, refer to the appropriate section.
3. Remove the radio or navigation device with a large display, if installed, refer to Section Removal and installation of the radio.

4. Remove the screws securing the side wall (1) the top of the center console.

5. Remove the cover under the glove compartment, refer to the appropriate section.
6. Remove the screw (arrow in the illustration) under the glove compartment on the left side.
7. Open the glove box and remove the top 2 screws (2).
8. Remove the cover on the side of the front passenger side from the dashboard.

The lid is removed similarly to remove the cover of the fuse box, refer to Section relays and fuses.

9. Remove the 2 screws (3) on the side instrument panel.
10. Disconnect plug the glove compartment light.
11. Remove the glove box lined with (1) the top of the center console.

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
