Assessment of pulling the timing chain engine M628

PERFORMANCE ORDER

The degree of stretching the timing chain can be determined indirectly, for the position of the pulley (2) accessory drive belt on the intake camshaft (1).
Uncover the right cylinder head (see. Illustration details the installation of covers of heads of cylinders of the engine M682 (1 of 2), and details the installation of covers of heads of cylinders of the engine M682 (2 of 2)).
Remove the accessory drive belt (see. Section Replacing the accessory drive belt and the tension mechanism of its elements).
Turn the engine in the normal direction (arrow), so that the intake camshaft (1) it was possible to block the rod (4), - thread the rod.
If the pulley (2) accessory drive belt is locked in the shaft (1) is shifted more than 11 ?� after TDC relative to the mounting mark (3) (refer to. Applied to the pulley of the scale), the gas distribution chain should be replaced.
