Service oil pump
Removal and dismantling | - Remove the gas distribution belt.
- Remove the crankshaft gear and the rear guide plate.
| To avoid damage to the oil pump oil seal / crankshaft when removing the pump, remove the pins from the drive pinion shaft key. |
- Give bolts of the oil pump to the engine block. Tapping the bottom of the inner surface of the pump, remove it from the stud of the crankshaft. Discard the gasket.
| The internal gear oil pump is driven in rotation by means of two flats, Rout in the crankshaft. |
- Give fixing screws and remove the back cover of the oil pump (oil pump components are shown in the accompanying illustration).
- Carefully, memorizing their mounting position, remove the pump casing inner and outer gear oil pump.
- Remove the oil pressure relief valve, remove the spring seat, spring and plunger.
- Carefully remove the oil pump oil seal crankshaft - use pliers or a flat-bladed screwdriver. Discard the oil seal.

|
Checking the Status | - Rinse all the components of the oil pump in a suitable solvent, and then dry them.
- Inspect the pump casing and cover for signs of wear, deformation and other damages.
- Inspect the plunger for defects reducing valve.
- Check relief valve spring for damage and compare its performance characteristics (length and compression force) with the parameters of a new spring.
- With the blade of the probe, measure the gap between the teeth of the inner and outer gears and the crescent. If the clearance is out of range (see. Table sizes and adjustments in the end of this manual), replace both gears.
| - Using the probe and meter flatness (rib steel ruler) check clearances between the end faces of both the gear pump and the cover (see the. Accompanying illustration). When you exit the measurements of range (see. Table sizes and adjustments in the end of this manual), replace both gears and / or pump housing.
|
| - Measure the clearance between the outer gear and the wall of the pump housing (see. Accompanying illustration). If necessary, replace the outer gear and / or housing.
|
- Check the condition of the strainer maslozabornika. In case of blockage or damage, clean or replace the net.
|
|
Assembly and installation Assembly and installation of the pump in reverse order of dismantling. | - Check the cleanliness of the nest landing gland, lightly grease the new oil seal on the perimeter sealant. Put the gland into the slot flush with the end face of the pump housing (the components are shown in the accompanying illustration).
| |
- Set in a pump assembly components reducing valve, tighten the plug with a force of 39 ÷ 69 Nm.
- Set in a pump housing outer gear (larger chamfer on the outer edge to the back of the pump).
- Establish an internal gear (equipped with the groove side facing the back of the pump).
- Lubricate the gear motor oil and replace the back cover of the pump. Tighten the mounting bolts to 4 ÷ 5 Nm.
- Coat both sides of the sealing gasket of the new pump.
- Lightly oil the oil seal lips and slide the pump assembly on a pin of the crankshaft, making sure to properly flats internal gear engaging the crankshaft.
- Align the pump assembly and its gasket on the engine block and tighten the mounting bolts. Tighten bolts to 9 ÷ 11.8 Nm.
- Replace the engine oil pan and assemble maslozabornika, fill in the required number of engine oil grades required.
- Install the crankshaft gear, gas distribution strap and vibration damper.
- Start the engine, warm it up to normal operating temperature. Check for oil leaks, make the necessary corrections.
