Replacement of spherical caps (Releaser jams)
| - For the purpose of cooling the engine block casting of the cylinder head, a plurality of water channels equipped with technological holes.
| - These holes plugged with special squeezing plugs (spherical caps) which must be replaced every time cleaning the water jackets of the engine, as well as in case of defects due to corrosion. In an accompanying illustration shows the clutch release plug located on the right side of the engine 4.2 liters.

| If any defects even a clutch release plug correctly will replace all of them.

- Drain the cooling system.
- Remove the components / assemblies installed in the engine compartment of a vehicle, and limiting access to the tubes to be replaced Clutch release.
- Using a hammer and punch zastuchite outer edge of the plug with one of its sides into the holes.
- Grasp tongs turned inside out for the opposite end of the plug and pull it out of its hole.
- Thoroughly clean and dry hole for the installation of clutch release plug.
- Lightly grease the outer edge of the new plug and the wall of the aperture connecting the sealant type Stag.
- Apply the tube to the hole and by means of a piece of pipe or a removable end head suitable diameter (equal to the outer diameter of tube) perpendicular to bury the plug into the hole.
| The slightest misalignment tube in the bore may lead to leakage of the coolant. |
- Install taken to ensure access components.
- Fill the cooling system. If you screwed the radiator cap, start the engine, warm it up to normal operating temperature and check for coolant leaks.
