Service gauge-switch of the permission of start
Check of serviceability of functioning | - Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Disconnect an electric socket of the gauge-switch of the permission of start.
| - Check for continuity between connector terminals at different positions of the selector lever (see. Accompanying illustration).

- If conductivity is absent in all audits, disconnect draft of the selector lever and PWA procedure.
- If the test gives a positive result, adjust the selector rod.
- At negative results of check remove the gauge-switch of the permission to start transmission and repeat the test again.
- If this time everything is in order, set the sensor switch back on and adjust it as described later in this section.
- If the conductivity is still absent in all cases, replace the gauge-switch of the permission of start.

Refitting Withdrawal | - Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
| - Disconnect an electric socket of the gauge-switch of the permission of start (the appearance of the gauge-switch is shown in an accompanying illustration).
|
- Put the transmission in position I, give fixing bolts and remove the gauge-switch of the permission to start transmission.

|
Setting Installation is in the reverse order. | - Ensure the quality of electrical contact terminals of the connector and reliable fastening of the latter.
- Adjust the gauge-switch.

Adjustment | - Give thrust selector locknut and remove the rod from the rod of the selector.
- Turn the selector rod position "N".
- Loosen the bolts of the gauge-switch of the permission start.
- Enter rod ø 4 mm hole in the selector rod.
- Adjust the position of the sensor-switch so that the pin was in an opening therein. Hold the rod as much as possible perpendicular to the pickup switch.
- Tighten the gauge-switch.
- Connect the selector rod to the rod, and screw the lock nut make adjustment rod as described below.
