Engine management Motronic versions used in cars in the Golf III: engines AAA to 7.95, with AEE 10.95 (Motronic / 1AV); ABV with 7.95, AEK with 10.95 (Motronic M2.9), ABV with 8.95 (Motronic 3.8.1). Unlike other systems, the engine control applies a sequential fuel injection. This means that each fuel injector is controlled separately and injects the working mixture in accordance with the working cylinder. By accurately choosing the moment of injection in relation to the time of opening the intake valve of the KSUD provided more efficient combustion of the mixture that is particularly manifest in the rapid increase of torque during acceleration of the vehicle.
