Recommendations for impair starting
If the engine still does not start and the starter rotates the flywheel, check whether there is fuel in the tank. On vehicles equipped with a gasoline engine, check:

- The reliability of the connection of high-voltage wires to the spark plugs and distributor (if fitted equipment); - Connection of high-voltage cables and wiring connector to the ignition coil; - In wet weather, wipe with a dry cloth connectors electrical circuits that control the ignition and high-voltage wires, then treat their water-repellent spray WD-40; - Pay particular attention to the electrical connector air flow sensor (if fitted equipment); - On vehicles equipped with a diesel engine, check the preheating. Start the engine from the external battery. Before you attach an external battery pack, make sure that: - Turned off the ignition, all electrical equipment (lighting equipment, wiper and so on.); - External battery has the same voltage as your; Note the polarity of the connected battery; - Cars do not touch each other.

Connect an external battery pack, as shown in Fig. 1.12, and start the engine. When he starts to work steadily, disconnect the cigarette lighter in the reverse order. Start the engine via the towing vehicle. You can start the motor by means of towing another vehicle.
A WARNING In this case, it may be towed by not more than 50 m because at engine startup may be so damaged converter exhaust, as well as other parts of the exhaust system! |
