Removal, installation and tension of the toothed belt
Withdrawal Remove the engine cover.
NOTE Installation of the timing belt is allowed to be carried out only when the engine is cold, since the position of the tension wheel marks depends on the temperature of the engine. |
Remove ribbed belt. Remove the V-belt tension element. Remove the top cover of a gear belt. Remove the exhaust pipe from the additional heater.
Remove charge air pipe between the intercooler and turbocharger. Carefully cover or close the open ends. Remove the vibration damper / pulley. Remove the lower and middle part of the cover of a gear belt. Loosen fixing fuel lines / tubes of the cooling system on the inlet pipe. Remove coolant expansion tank and put it to one side (hoses remain connected). Bring the crankshaft to TDC of the first cylinder.
NOTE Moving the application of gears with oval crankshaft. During installation of the gear wheel to set the pistons to TDC use the lock crankshaft. |

|
Rotate the crankshaft until the mark on the crankshaft gear and camshaft gear sector gear will not appear at the top. Mark on the cover of a gear belt and cam-shaft should coincide (Fig. 2.294). A - circular gear, fix with locking crankshaft TDC - 12 hours. B - oval gear, fix with locking crankshaft TDC - 1 hour.
NOTE Secure crankshaft gear with locking latch crankshaft or crankshaft. To do this, insert the latch on the front side of the crankshaft gear in its engagement. |
NOTE The marks on the crankshaft sprocket and crankshaft latch should match. This locking pin crankshaft must enter into the hole of the sealing flange. |
| Fig. 2.295. Installing the engine mounting position
|
Install the support console for engine bearings and lift the motor mounting position as shown in Figure 2.295. Remove the engine mount retaining bolts / engine mounts the engine and remove the cushion.
NOTE Remove the engine mount only, if the motor is fixed by supporting console Engine mounts can be unscrewed only when the pad is removed the power unit. |
ATTENTION Make sure that when lifting and lowering the engine with support for console were damaged, severely strained or torn components / hoses. |
Slightly lift up the engine with the support console, so that you can unscrew and remove the two upper engine mount bolts. Lower the engine with the support console, so that you can unscrew and remove the lower bolt. Unscrew the fixing collar tube circuit of the air conditioning system of the spar.
NOTE Engine mounts can be extracted only when the toothed belt slack. Mark the direction of rotation of a gear belt. |
Unscrew the fixing bolts 1 and 2 gears camshafts until camshaft gear will not rotate in the longitudinal grooves.
To do this, insert the locking pin through the free longitudinal grooves in the bore of the cylinder head. Unscrew the fixing nut of a tension roller.
| Fig. 2.297. The rotation of the wrench to fix the tension roller
|
Then turn the wrench counter-clockwise until the tension roller of a gear belt engages with the locking pin (Fig. 2.297).
NOTE The tension and slack tension roller can be carried out using the allen key. |
Then, turn the wrench clockwise until it stops and tighten the retaining nut by hand. Remove the engine mounting up. Remove toothed belt first from coolant pump and then to the rest of the gears.
Setting Secure camshafts with a locking pin for the unit injector.
NOTE Install toothed belt must only be performed when the engine is cold, since the position of the tension wheel marks depends on the temperature of the engine. Tensioner must be secured by a locking pin on the right palm. |
The crankshaft must be secured by a latch or lock the crankshaft crankshaft. Turn the camshaft gear in the longitudinal grooves clockwise until it stops. Toothed belt lay on the crankshaft gear, tension roller and the camshaft gears and diverting rollers. On gear coolant pump toothed belt lay last. Install the engine mounting at the top and tighten the lower fixing bolt. Raise engine with support console so that you could see the tension wheel arrow. Turn off fixing nuts and remove the tensioner pulley locking pin.
| Fig. 2.298. The correctness of landing a tension roller
|
NOTE Watch out for the correct tensioning pulley landing in the back of the timing belt cover (Fig. 2.298). |
Then rotate the tensioning roller using a wrench in the direction of the arrow until the arrow is in the middle period of the base plate (Fig. 2.299). Make sure that it does not rotate the fixing nut. Fix the tensioner roller in this position and tighten the fixing nut of the tensioner roller, as follows, 20 N ? m and tighten on 45 ? (1/8 turn).
NOTE When tightening the mounting nut hand can turn max. 5 mm to the right of the gap of the support plate. This provision does not require adjustment, so as to establish the correct timing belt properly during operation. |
Install the counter support, as shown in Figure 2.300. Click on the counter support in the direction of the arrow and tighten the camshaft gears. Tighten mounting bolts camshaft gear in this position with a torque of 25 Nm. Remove the locking pins and locking the crankshaft and the crankshaft lock. Take a minute. 2 revolutions of the crankshaft in the direction of rotation of the motor shaft and reinstall the first cylinder to the top dead center position. Lock hub A in the direction of rotation of the motor shaft with a locking pin (Fig. 2.296). The hub must be secured with a locking pin. The crankshaft is fixed by a latch or lock the crankshaft crankshaft. Arrow tension roller is in the middle or max. 5 mm gap to the right of the support plate. If the hub is not fixed Turn off fixing bolts 1 raspredvalaA gear. The hub must be secured with a locking pin. Turn crankshaft until the camshaft sprocket hub in locks with the locking pin (Fig. 2.296). Turn off fixing bolts camshaft sprocket 2 B.
Slightly turn the crankshaft against the direction of rotation of the motor shaft until the lock pin of the crankshaft will not appear next to the opening of the sealing flange (Fig. 2.301). Then rotate the crankshaft in the rotational direction of the motor shaft so that the latch pin engages with a sealing flange. Repeat control. Tighten both upper bolt lock engine torque 40 Nm + 1/2 about. (180 ?). Lower engine using support console Tighten the bottom bolt lock engine torque 40 Nm + 1/2 about. (180 ?). Install the lower and middle part of the cover of a gear belt. Install vibration damper / pulley belt drive (replace the mounting bolts). Tightening torque 10 Nm + to tighten on 90 ? (1/4 turn).
NOTE Before you install the cushion of the power unit is necessary to tighten all screws engine support with the specified torque. |
Refit the engine / body (replace the mounting bolts).
| Fig. 2.96. Fixing the upper engine mount bracket
|
Screw the pad motor to the motor support, to gain access to the details of using the console-support (Fig. 2.96). Tightening torque 60 Nm + to tighten on 90 ? (1/4 turn). Place the upper part of the cover of a gear belt. Install poly V-belt tension element tightening torque of 25 Nm Install poly V-belt. Further installation is performed in reverse order. It is necessary to consider the following Watch the stocking density of the fuel hoses. Supply and return fuel lines in some places not to change (reverse fuel line blue or marked in blue, black Fuel flow line). When installing the pipes follow the charge-air tightness of clamps. Install the liner. Install screen proofing.
