Removing and installing V-ribbed belt
Withdrawal Remove noise insulation. Remove the lower part of the fender liner.
To do this, pull up the choke lock connectors. Remove the fuel filter from the engine mountings and put the filter with hose connection to side. Mark direction of travel V-ribbed belt.

Turn the tensioning element for poly V-belt tension release with a fork wrench in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 2.258).
Remove ribbed belt.
Setting Installation is carried out in reverse order.
NOTE Before installing poly V-belt, check and tighten all assemblies (generator, air conditioning compressor). When installing poly V-belt Check the direction of rotation and correct seating of the belt on the belt pulley. |
Install the V-ribbed belt for the air conditioning compressor in the last turn. Install the fuel filter with a torque of 10 Nm. After the work, always start the engine and check the progress of the belt.
