Clean seating surfaces. They must be free of oil and grease.

Setting
Cut the tip of the tube at the front marking (hole diameter of about 3 mm).

NOTE
Observe the shelf life of the sealant.
The sealing flange must be installed within 5 minutes after the application of the silicone sealant.

NOTE
Harness sealant should not be thicker than 2-3 mm, otherwise excess sealant will fall into the sump. Sealant can get on the sealing surface of crankshaft oil seal or clog the mesh filter of the oil pump the oil line.
Before applying the sealant cover the seating surface of the O-ring with a clean cloth.

Fig. 2.262. Schematic drawing of hermetic on a landing surface of the sealing flange

Apply silicone sealant to the clean sealing flange seating surface as shown in Figure 2.262.
Immediately install the sealing flange and gently pull all the bolts.

NOTE
To mount the sealing flange during a sealing ring use the guide sleeve.

Screw the new sealing flange fixing bolts, alternating crosswise with torque 15 Nm.
Install the crankshaft gear wheel.
Zapotyanite central bolt with a torque of 120 Nm + to tighten on 1/4. (90 ?) (additional tightening may be carried out in several stages).
