Replacing the valve stem seals (if installed cylinder head)
Removing the valve stem seals Remove camshafts.

NOTE To replace the valve seals the exhaust valves of cylinders 3 and 4, in addition, remove the EGR valve. |
Continuation of the assembly operations for all vehicles Remove the roller lever and put them on a clean surface. Roller levers places do not change. Remove the spark plug spark plug wrench.
Screw the guide plate bolts with thumbscrews, as shown in Figure 2.117, to the cylinder head. Bring the piston of the corresponding cylinder in the "bottom dead center". Screw the adapter into the spark plug hole and connect the compressed air at a pressure of 6 bar.
Separate sitting firmly crackers valve mandrel and a plastic hammer (Fig. 2.118). Screw device with a suspension fork in the guide. Insert the installation of Patras in the guide plate.

Push down the cartridge assembly. At the same time rotate the knurled screw mounting cartridge to the right until the ends will not enter the valve crackers. Gently turn the knurled screw back and forth by crackers that are unclenched and cartridge valve is captured. Release the push plug. Remove the cartridge assembly.
If, due to lack of space puller 3364 can not be used, press out the pin of the mandrel and remove the attachment (Fig. 2.122).

Push the bottom part of a stripper 3364 on the valve stem seal (Fig. 2.123). Insert the mandrel 1 in the hole in the bottom of the stripper. Hook mounting device and remove the lever so the valve stem seal.
Installing the valve stem seals
To avoid damage to the new valve stem seals in the need to put in the valve stem plastic sleeve A (Fig. 2.124). Grease a working edge of the valve stem seal in the engine oil, insert into the device for pressing and gently push in the guide sleeve. Remove the plastic sleeve A. Insert the spring and the valve spring plate. Fit the installation, as shown in Figure 2.119.
NOTE After removing the valve from the installation of crackers cartridge must first be inserted into the jig. |
Push down on the cartridge mounting jig and by installing, fix the valve crackers. Push the mounting socket with the help push down the fork and rotate the knurled screw mounting cartridge back and forth, and the pull it up. Unload push the plug in the extended knurled screw. Remove the device for assembling and disassembling the valve checks. Further installation and assembly is performed in reverse sequence to removal.
