If the hinge is assembled properly, the clip housing can be freely rotated in any direction by an angle corresponding to the angle of rotation of the hinge.
Assembly Fit the joint to lock. Install retaining ring.
Pressing the inner CV joint
NOTE Bevel SHRUS splined hole should be facing towards the end of the drive shaft spline. |
Crimp the clamp on the outer hinge
Install the collet, as shown in Figure 3.112. It is necessary to ensure that the crimping pliers rest against the edge of the projection in the clamp. Crimp the clamp by turning spindle with a torque wrench (not turning the clamp).
NOTE Because anther material (compared with the tires) is sufficiently rigid for securing it requires the clamp made of stainless steel. Such a collar can be crimped only ticks. |
Torque: 25 Nm. Use a torque wrench with a control range of 5.50 N ? m (for example, a torque wrench). Make sure that the spindle A mite moved without jamming. If necessary, apply a small amount of grease MOS 2.
When the rotation is difficult, for example due to contamination of the thread when the specified torque is not achieved the necessary effort crimping clamp (Fig. 3.113).
