This protrusion arrow A should coincide with the deepening - arrow B. Install the spring on the lower holder VAS 6046/3.

Ensure the correct position of the spring holder VAS 6046/3 (Fig. 4.81).

The top cup is necessary to set the spring so that the tab is in front tie-rod 1 (Fig. 4.83). Cents Lines A and B must be parallel to each other.

The end of the spring must be adjacent to the abutment of the upper support 1 (fig. 4.84). Make sure that the boot was clamped in the upper bowl of the spring 2. On the piston rod tighten new hexagon nut. Lift the screed VAS 6046 and remove it from the spring. Install the spring strut.
Torque Nut strut (use new nuts) - 60 Nm
