Removal and installation of the top casing of the engine
Removal of the right-side engine cover Remove the cover 2.
Remove the engine cover from the mounts (arrow in Figure 2.10) and pull it up.
Removal of the central casing of the engine compartment (6-cylinder petrol engine)
Rasklipsuyte engine casings 1 and 2 and pull them up (Fig. 2.11).
ATTENTION When installing the engine cover, namely when fixing it to the fixing points, do not use brute force or use tools. Otherwise, you may damage the engine cover. |
Removal of the central casing of the engine compartment (10-cylinder diesel engine) 2 Remove the dipstick measurement of the oil level.

Otklipsuyte casing 1 by fasteners (arrows in Figure 2.12) and lift it up.
Setting Install the engine cover 1 on the attachment point and press down so that the latches lock. Do not forget to install the dipstick.

First, remove the engine cover with both hands in front (in direction of travel) (arrow in Figure 2.13), then lift it with both hands behind (in the area of the wall of the engine compartment).
NOTE When removing the cover, do not lift the motor jerk. When removing the engine cover set exactly. |
Setting Position the engine cover at the points of attachment, pay attention to the oil fill tube and dipstick. Push the engine cover at the attachment points front and rear so that the latches lock.
