Replacing brake fluid

Tools required:

- Cap the public key for the bleeder screw;
- Brake fluid specification FMVSS 116 DOT 4.

Brake fluid is absorbed through the pores of the brake hoses and air discharge outlet surge tank moisture from the air. Therefore, the boiling point of the brake fluid decreases with time. When braking it can lead to the formation of vapor bubbles in the brake lines and brake performance will be severely compromised.

Brake fluid changed every two years, if possible, in the spring. When driving in the mountains of the brake fluid changed more frequently.

Replacing the brake fluid is described in section 7.13.

Observe precautions when handling brake fluid. Old brake fluid to pass to local collection points of special waste.
