Location rope and its fastening elements are shown in Fig. 16.16.

Withdrawal
In the car on the driver, remove the screws and remove from the instrument panel lower trim pad.
3 Unscrew the two screws and remove the handle 2 hood open with the bracket. Disconnect the cable from the hood release handle.
Remove the ball joint 7 cable from the lever lock and a cable cover from the bracket 6.
Release the cover of a cable from the seal 4 in the engine compartment, remove the cable from the bulkhead and remove it from the vehicle.

Setting
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
The cable in the engine compartment is installed without pretension.
