Replacement of the fuel filter
In accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations fuel filter replaced after one year of operation or after 10 000 km (whichever comes first). However, taking into account operating experience of vehicles in the Russian conditions is recommended to replace it every 5-6 thousand. Km. Jerks when the vehicle is first high, and then at reduced speeds is likely to indicate the filter is clogged. The fuel filter is installed in the engine compartment next to the vacuum brake booster. | | 2. Squeeze the tabs ... | 3. ... and disconnect the fuel line from the tip of the discharge filter. |
| | 4. Similarly disconnect the tip of the fuel feed line on the other side of the filter. | 5. Overcoming holder pressure, remove the fuel filter from the vehicle. |
6. Install the new fuel filter in reverse order, so that the arrow on the cylindrical part of the filter coincides with the direction of the flow of fuel. Tips fuel hoses connect the filter to the motion along the fittings it snaps into place.
A WARNING After installation, be sure to check the fuel filter when the engine is running the fuel filter connection with fuel lines for leaks of gasoline. Repeat if necessary connecting fuel lines to their reliable fixation. If leakage of the compounds are not eliminated, replace the O-ring rubber tip fuel or fuel assembly. |
