Removal and installation of the oil pump
The oil pump is removed for repair while reducing its flow, causing a constant pressure drop of oil in the engine lubrication system, as well as oil leakage through the seal. You will need: all the tools necessary to remove the timing belt and the oil sump of the engine, as well as the key "10". 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug "minus" of the storage battery. 5. Remove the timing belt and tensioner roller (see. "Replacing and adjusting the tension of the timing belt and its replacement by a tension roller").
A WARNING After removal of the timing belt is prohibited to turn the distribution and crankshafts, pistons so may damage the valves. |

| | 8. ... two lower bolts ... | 9. ... and remove the cover. |
| | 11. Remove the bolt bracket tube oil receiver to the engine block ... | 12. ... the two mounting bolts to the oil pump oil receiver ... |
| | 13. ... and remove the oil receiver. | Oil receiver 14. The flange is sealed with a rubber ring. Strong compression, hardened or torn ring necessarily replace, as otherwise due to leaking connections can dramatically decrease the supply of the oil pump. |
HELPFUL ADVICE Each lifting oil receiver, always flush it mesh with gasoline or kerosene to remove the varnish deposits of oil. |
| | 15. Remove the timing crankshaft pulley. | 16. Remove the seven bolts of the oil pump to the engine block. |
| | 17. The pump is hooked two screwdrivers, remove it from the mounting plugs in the engine block. | 18. If the lining of the pump housing remains in the cylinder block, separate it with a sharp instrument and remove. |
HELPFUL HINTS Each withdrawal of the oil pump, replace the new gasket. Only install proprietary gasket prefabricated as other gasket thickness will cause malfunction of the pump. |
19. Clean the gasket surfaces of the cylinder and the pump body from the remains of old gasket. 20. Before installing the oil pump cavity fill with grease to provide suction of oil from the oil pan when you first start the engine. 21. Place the pump in reverse order of removal, and tighten its mounting bolts evenly crosswise to 7 N ? m (0.7 kgf ? m).
HELPFUL ADVICE When installing a new or reconditioned oil pump we recommend to replace the oil filter. |
