Replacing the power steering pump
You will need: the keys "10", "12", "16", "22" face head "12", flat-blade screwdriver, pliers. | | 2. Remove the three mounting bolts of the power steering pump pulley, hold the pump pulley from turning a screwdriver ... | 3. ... and remove the pulley. |
| | 4. Hold the nozzle against rotation, the second key unscrew the nut of the pipeline ... | 5. ... and remove the pipe from the union. |
NOTE The connection of the pipeline to the pump is sealed by a rubber ring, which must be replaced at each separation. |
| | 6. Squeeze bent antennae clamp pliers, slide the clamp to the pump ... | 7. ... and remove the hose from the pipe. |
A WARNING Take precautionary measures against leakage of working fluid from the pipeline, drowning them, such as wooden plugs. |
8. Remove the tube clamp. | | 9. Remove the two screws on the power steering pump ... | 10. ... and remove the pump from the vehicle assembly to the suction pipe. |
| | 11. Remove the two screws on the flange of the suction pipe ... | 12. ... and disconnect the pipe from the pump housing. |
NOTE The connection of the pipeline to the pump is sealed by a rubber ring, which must be replaced at each separation. |
