Removal and installation of mudguards of wheels and Lockers
The arches of the front wheels and the rear of the rear wheel arches set plastic wheel arch liners that protect the body from the abrasive action of sand and stones cast wheels. Mud flaps set for front wheels, protect body thresholds. Rear mud guards protect vehicles traveling behind, departing from damage from the stones of the rear wheels. You will need: Phillips screwdriver with a blade ratchet Phillips bat hard to loosen the screws.
NOTE The work shows for the mudguards and wheel arch liners on the left side of the car. Right wing flaps and mud flaps removed and installed similarly. |
To remove the front wheel mudguard, do the following. | | 1. Remove the screw securing the bottom ... | 2. ... and the two screws fixing the front mudguard of the front wing ... |
3. ... then remove the front wheel mudguard. 4. Install the front wheel mudguard in the reverse order of removal.
To remove the front wheel arch liner, do the following. 1. Remove the front wheel mudguard (see. Above in this section). | | 2. Remove the three screws that secure the fender liner to the front bumper. | 3. Push (for example, a screwdriver) the core pistons front mounting of the fender liner inside the pistons ... |
| | 4. ... and remove the cap. | 5. Similarly, remove the two pistons of the top fastening ... |
| | 6. ... one Pistone rear mounting at the top ... | 7. ... and below ... |
8. ... and then remove the front wheel arch liner. 9. Install the front liner in the reverse order of removal.
To remove the rear wheel mudguard, do the following. | | 1. Remove the screw securing the bottom ... | 2. ... and the two screws fixing the front mudguard to the rear bumper ... |
3. ... and remove the mudguard of the rear wheel. 4. Install the mudguard of the rear wheel in the reverse order of removal.
To remove the rear wheel arch liner, do the following. 1. Remove the mudguard of the rear wheel (see. Above in this section). | | 2. Remove the top two screws ... | 3. ... and one bottom screw fastening the fender liner to the rear bumper ... |
4. ... and then remove the rear wheel arch liner. 5. Install the rear wheel arch liner and all the parts removed in reverse order.
