Replacement of the fixed glass body
Glass windscreen and tailgate windows glued into the body opening. They are replaced by the same methods, so the work is shown by the example of the wind window glass. You will need: a flat-blade screwdriver, awl, knife set for glass bonding. It looks like a set for glass bonding. It consists of a tube of glue, the tip of the tube, the activator / cleaner, soil. NOTE The instructions for using the kit from different manufacturers may be slight differences. In this regard, when performing this operation, guided by the instructions in the kit you purchased. |

15. Set the aperture around the rubber pads of uniform thickness to prevent contact with the glass elements of the body. 16. Within 30 minutes after application of the soil uniformly apply the adhesive to the window opening (thickness 0.5 cm) along the perimeter of the glass. 17. Install the glass in the car. 18. Replace the seal glass. 19. Press and fix the glass in any way possible (for example, using masking tape). Period glue polymerization is not less than 2-3 hours. During this time, the car should not be subjected to any external influences. Even the abrupt closure of the door may increase the air pressure in the cabin and, as a consequence, the separation of glass. Operation of the vehicle after gluing the glass is desirable to start no earlier than 24 hours. 20. Install the front rack. 21. Install the grid boxes vozduhopritoka and the inside rearview mirror. 22. Install the wiper arm windscreen, together with the brushes. 23. Glass windows replace tailgate similarly. If the new glass windscreen for any reason, no mounting bracket rearview mirror, you can glue the bracket to the glass yourself. This will require: - Glue brand Loctite; - Mirror bracket; - Pencil-collotype or chalk; - Alcohol for washing; - Clean paper towel; - Fine-grained sandpaper No. 320-360.

Marking on the glass windscreen mounting bracket for mounting the mirror is shown in Fig. 11.5. 1. Measure the inner surface of the glass along the symmetry axis A away from the top edge to the bottom edge of the window bracket base equal to 118 mm. 2. Attach the base of the bracket to the outer surface of the glass, and align it with the bottom edge line markings. Mark the outline of the glass bottom of the bracket collotype or crayon. Draw a circle around the location of the bracket slightly larger diameter than the base of the bracket, in order to limit the area to clean the inner surface of the glass. 3. Rinse with soapy water inside of the glass and wipe dry with a paper towel. 4. Clean the inside of the glass with a paper towel dipped in alcohol. 5. Deal with sandpaper grit 320-360 number marked circle on the inside surface of the glass, wipe with a paper towel dipped in alcohol, and let dry. 6. Put on the glass surface and the base of the bracket adhesive, following the instructions of the manufacturer of the adhesive. 7. Attach the arm to the inner surface of the glass according to the layout and strongly push it to 30-60. 8. After 5 minutes, remove the excess adhesive from the glass with a paper towel moistened with alcohol.
