Engine radiator fan of cars with diesel engines of 2.0 liters
Withdrawal | - Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Disconnect the connector from the engine and the radiator fan harness from the casing.
- On vehicles with automatic transmission disconnect hoses from the oil cooler.
- Remove the four screws on the fan housing.
- Remove the cover with the motor cooling fan.
- Remove the clamp and separate the fan from the fan motor.
| - Remove the three screws and remove the fan motor.

Check the engine cooling fan | - Check that the engine cooling fan is rotated upon application of a voltage from the battery.
| - Check that when the engine is no extraneous noise.
|

|
Check the radiator fan motor relay | - With fuse and relay box in the engine compartment, remove the radiator fan motor relay.
| - Ohmmeter check up conductivity between the terminals "2" and "4".

Setting Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. | Ensure that the radiator fan after installation is in contact with the casing. |
