Radiator



Radiator cars with petrol engines

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and the connector from the engine cooling fan.
  2. Set the temperature control in the passenger compartment at a maximum temperature.
  3. Remove the drain plug on the radiator and drain the coolant into a suitable container.
  4. Loosen the hose clamps and remove the upper and lower hoses from the radiator.
  5. On vehicles with automatic transmission disconnect hoses from the oil cooler.

To eliminate the leaking transmission fluid, and dirt in the system, close the ends of the hoses of an oil radiator with suitable plugs.

  1. Remove the bolts of the radiator.
  2. Remove the radiator with radiator fan.
  3. Remove the fan motor from the radiator.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check for bent radiator fins. If necessary, using a comb, straighten platinum.
  2. Check the radiator for cracks, damage and leaks.
  3. Check the radiator hoses for cracks, damage and scuffs.
  4. Check the expansion tank for damage.
  5. Check the radiator cap.
  6. Check the valve opening pressure of radiator cap.
  7. Check the radiator cap gasket for cracks or damage.

Check the engine cooling fan

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check that the engine cooling fan is rotated upon application of a voltage from the battery.
  1. Check that when the engine is no extraneous noise.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Fill in the required amount of cooling required coolant.
  2. Start up the engine and let it run for as long as the thermostat valve open, then stop the engine.
  3. Remove the radiator cap and add coolant to the upper edge of the neck of the radiator.
  4. Check for leaks from the cooling system.

Radiator cars with diesel engines of 2.0 liters

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Disconnect the connector from the engine cooling fan.
  3. Remove the drain plug on the radiator and drain the coolant into a suitable container.
  4. Loosen the hose clamps and remove the upper and lower hoses from the radiator.
  1. On vehicles with automatic transmission disconnect hoses from the oil cooler.

  1. Remove the radiator with radiator fan.
  2. Remove the radiator fan motor and condenser.

  2. Check the radiator for cracks, damage and leaks.
  3. Check the radiator hoses for cracks, damage and scuffs.
  4. Check the expansion tank for damage.
  5. Check the radiator cap.
  6. Check the hoses of an oil radiator cracks, damage and scuffs.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Fill in the required amount of cooling required coolant.
  2. Start up the engine and let it run for as long as the thermostat valve open, then stop the engine.
  3. Remove the radiator cap and add coolant to the upper edge of the neck of the radiator.
