Lower arm front suspension
Withdrawal | - Remove the front wheel.
| - Remove the cotter pin from the drive shaft, unscrew the nut and washer securing the shaft to the hub of the front wheel.
|
- Loosen the nut on the ball joint of the lower arm, but do not remove it completely.
- Remove the two screws on the bottom of the rack to the steering knuckle.
- Pushing out the knuckle, remove the drive shaft from the hub.
| - 09568-34000 stripper squeeze out a pin of the ball joint from the knuckle.

- Temporarily install the lower bolt strut front suspension.
- Remove the nut rod stabilizer.
- Remove the hub bolts (A) and (G) of the lower arm.
- Remove the lower arm.

Dismantling Replacing a ball joint and a dust cover | | - Blade screwdriver, remove the dust cover from the ball joint of the lower arm.
|
| - Remove the snap ring.
|
| - Kapron hammer separate the ball joint of the lower arm.
|
| - The special tool 09545-11000 press in new ball joint in the lower arm.
|
- Install the snap ring.
| - Special tool 09545 - 21100 set the dust cover.
|
|
|
Replacement of the plug (G) of the lower arm | - Install special tools 09545-02000, 09216-21200 and 09216-21200 on the lower arm.
| - Remove the plug.
|
- Lubricate with soapy water following details:
- The outer surface of the new plug; - The inner surface of the lower arm mounting sleeve. - The special tool 09216-21100, 09624-34000 install a new bushing on the lower arm.
| Fitting the sleeve (G) so that it is in the position shown in the figure. After installing the sleeve wipe off soapy water. Pressing force: 80 N. |

Check | | - Check the bushing for wear and deterioration of her condition.
|
- Check the lower arm in the absence of bending or damage.
- Check the dust cover ball joint for cracks.
- Check all bolts.
| - Check the torque that must be applied to crank pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever.
|
??? If there are cracks in the protective cover, replace the ball joint. ??? Several times rocking from side to side of the pin of the ball joint of the lower arm. ??? Measure the torque required for the rotation trunnion ball joint of the lower arm. Torque: 3.5-10 N ??? m ??? If the torque exceeds the allowable value, replace the ball joint. ??? If the torque well below the allowable value, the ball joint can be reused if it is not jammed and is not excessive backlash.

Setting | - First, insert the plug (G) of the lower arm and secure it with screws, tighten them by hand.
- At the same time insert the drive shaft into the hub.
- Establish draft stabilizer in the lower arm, but do not tighten completely the self-locking nut thrust.
- To install the sleeve (A) of the lower arm to press the brake disc and the hub of the front wheel.
- Tighten the bolt sleeve (A) of the lower arm.
- Finally bolt sleeve (G) of the lower arm.
| - Fix the stabilizer rod wrench open-end wrench 14 mm and screw the self-locking nut.

- Place the washer, screw the castellated nut on the drive shaft and secure it with a locking pin.
- Install the wheel.
