Removal and installation of the traction relay (engines of 4.0 liters)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

If the radio in your car is equipped by a security code before to disconnect the battery negative cable, make sure that you know this code.

For the separation of the traction relay of a starter, remove the starter and remove the tire from the starter relay terminals (arrow).

To remove the traction relay of a starter Give the fastening screws (arrows) in the front part (shown starter firm Mitsubishi).

After removing the magnetic switch, check the condition of teeth pinion starter. If the teeth are damaged, it is necessary to inspect and flywheel / drive disk.
Install in reverse order.
