Location of Controls Codes of diagnostics of an automatic transmission 42RE (4.0 liter engine) Flashing codes are displayed control lamp off overdrive. Before you start reading the code, check all the electrical connectors and the transmission fluid level. Double switch on and switch off the ignition, turn it on again. The mode switch of raising transfer shall be in normal - ON. Issuance of code will begin immediately. Code 55 indicates the end of the issuance of the code. To delete the code for a short time, remove the fuse box or in the transmission wiring harness. Do not disconnect the battery as deleted codes for other control systems of the vehicle. When using the scanner (DRB III recommended by Chrysler) or PC to read the code, connect it to the diagnostic socket on the left side of the dashboard, above the accelerator pedal. eleven | No signal engine speed sensor | 12 | No signal of the sensor output shaft | 13 | No signal Vehicle Speed Sensor | 14 | The signal of the pressure sensor controller | 15 | Throttle position signal | 16 | Temperature Sensor Transmission | 17 | Circuit breaker overdrive | 18 | Excess voltage | 19 | Do not supply voltage | 21 | Circuit solenoid pressure regulator | 22 | Circuit electromagnets shift 2 - 3 | 23 | The chain coupling of the converter of rotation | 24 | Chain control lamp off mode overdrive | 25 | Checksum error reprogrammable ROM | 26 | Pressure sensor controller | 55 | End of message |
