All models are described in the manual car brands equipped with either a five-speed manual transmission (shift) gear (Manual transmission) or a four-speed automatic transmission (AT). Given the complexity of the structure of AT and the need for special equipment to perform most of the procedures for its maintenance in this chapter mainly includes a general description of the procedures for troubleshooting, maintenance, adjustment and removal-installation. Overhaul transmission (if there is a need per se) should be carried out by experts of dealer branch or service center workshop. However, the procedures for removing and installing the transmission is quite capable of the average mechanic-fan, which can significantly reduce the costs of plumbing work at the time of transmission repair.
