Removing and installing sump
Withdrawal Setting | - Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the oil pan and the engine block, removing all traces of the old gasket material and sealant.
- If there is a deformation of the tray near the location of the bolt holes, otrihtuyte its flange, propped it on a piece of wood and striking the holes with a hammer with a rounded striker. Clean the mating surfaces with a cloth soaked in acetone.
- Prepare four centering guide pins, bolts made of 5/16 inch (8 mm) long 1-1 / 2 inches (38 mm). Cut off the screw heads and hacksaw cuts in their ends slots.
- Install the four centering pin in the front and rear mounting holes of the pallet in the block. Grease RTV sealant surface on both sides, where the pallet is mated with the rear main bearing cap and the front part, interfaced with a cover and the block chain.
- Attach the tray to its seats, pre-paving seal (putting it on the guide centering pins). Try not to move the gasket when installing the pallet. Screw the hand of a few bolts.
- Make sure that the gasket is not displaced or damaged anywhere around its perimeter. After all the screws and bolts replace the locator pins.
- Since the central and moving from side to side moving to the edges of the tray, tighten fixing bolts with demanded effort.
- Further installation is made in the reverse order of removal.
- Top up the engine oil meets the required number of varieties (Chapter Settings and maintenance) and change the oil filter. Start the engine and check for leaks before attempting to operate the vehicle normally.
