A rotary fist and a nave of a forward wheel



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and fix on support.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Bend the fillet and turn away a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave.

A warning

Be careful not to damage the groove and the thread at the end of the drive shaft.

When loosening the nuts of the drive shaft to a nave press the brake pedal to prevent the rotation of the wheel and the drive shaft.


4. Remove the cotter pin and loosen the nut trunnion ball joint tie rod to the steering knuckle. Stripper OK670 321 019 squeeze out a pin of the ball joint from the knuckle.

A warning

To facilitate the extrusion of the trunnion ball joint from the knuckle tap with a hammer on a hinge stripper.


5. Remove the bolts, remove the caliper front brake and, without disconnecting from it a brake hose, a soft wire fix it on an amortization rack.
6. Remove the sensor ABS and wheel speed sensor (right side).
7. Remove the brake disc.
8. Remove the coupling bolt, mount wring out the bottom lever downwards and separate a pin of the hinge from a rotary fist.
9. Remove the nuts and bolts, remove the steering knuckle to the lower part of the strut.

10. Separate the steering knuckle to the hub of the drive shaft.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the knuckle to the hub to the drive shaft.
2. Install the knuckle to the lower part of the strut and tighten bolts and nuts.

Torque: 103-122 N ??? m

3. Establish a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever in a rotary fist and fix a coupling bolt and nut.

Torque: 54-68 N ??? m

4. Install the brake disc on the wheel hub and fix bolts.

The inhaling moment: 9,8-14,7 N ??? m

5. Install the front brake caliper to the steering knuckle and secure with two bolts.

Torque: 78-101 N ??? m

6. Secure the brake hose bracket to strut.

7. Screw the new nut with a fillet and hammer in a nut fillet into the groove of the drive shaft.

Torque: 157-235 N ??? m


A warning

Do not hammer in a nut fillet into the groove of the drive shaft with a sharp instrument.
Make sure that the front wheel turns easily by hand.


8. Establish pins of spherical rod end to the knuckle.

A warning

Use new cotter pin.


9. Screw the nut and cotter pin and secure it from loosening. If the slots in the nut do not align with the hole in the pin, tighten the nut to combine them.

Torque: 47-52 N ??? m

10. Install sensor ABS and wheel speed sensor.

Torque: 8-12 N ??? m

11. Install the wheel.
