Replacing the front door lock

You will need a screwdriver with a flat blade and Phillips.

1. Remove the front door trim and moisture proof film (see. "Removing and installing front door trim").


2. Disconnect the electric wiring harness pad lock ...	3. ... and, overcoming the resistance of the plastic latches, disconnect the connector harness from the door panel.


4. Remove the thrust of the outside handle of the door lock (see. "Replacement of the external handle of the front door lock") ...	5. ... and in a similar manner by the actuator rod inside door handle.


6. Remove the three screws securing the lock to the door ...	7. ... and remove the lock from the door.

NOTE

Tighten the screws on the lock to the door can be pulled high moment, so for them to loosen, use the screwdriver shock.

8. Install the front door lock and all the removed parts in reverse order of removal.
