Checking and topping up the hydraulic fluid in the power steering reservoir
You will need: fluid power steering, clean cloth.
NOTE The hydraulic booster tank top up only fluid recommended by the manufacturer (see. Annex 2). |
The tank is mounted on a bracket on the right side of the engine compartment next to the support strut front suspension. On the tank body is marked ?�MAX?� and ?�MIN?�. When warmed up to normal temperature, the engine fluid level should be about a label ?�MAX?�. When the engine is cold the fluid level must not be below a label ?�MIN?�.
NOTE Fluid level in the power steering is checked when idling the engine. |
| | 1. Remove the tank cap by turning it counterclockwise by about 90 ?� ... | 2. ... and add the required amount of hydraulic fluid. |
3. Install the plug and wipe drips. |
