Replacement of ball bearings

If the test has confirmed the failure of the ball joint (see. "Checking the technical condition of the front suspension parts on the car"), replace it.

You will need: two keys "17" socket wrench "19", flat-blade screwdriver.

1. slow down the car and set the parking brake, wheel chocks ("shoes") under the rear wheels. Loosen the wheel nuts. Lift the front of the car jack and set it on supports. Remove the wheel.

2. Remove your finger from the knuckle ball joint (see. "Removing and installing the front suspension arms").


3. Remove the nuts of bolts of fastening of a spherical support to the lower arm front suspension ...	4. ... and remove the ball bearing.

NOTE

The main body of the ball joint shown its labeling. Get the ball bearing exactly the same markings.

5. Install the ball joint in the reverse order of removal.

6. After replacing the ball bearings, check and if necessary adjust the angles of the front wheels (see. "Check and adjust wheel alignment").
