Removal and installation of the front suspension crossmember

You will need: the keys "14", "19".

1. Set the vehicle wheels straight.

2. Drain the power steering (see. "Replacing the hydraulic fluid and bleeding of the power assisted steering").


3. Disconnect from the steering shaft of the steering (see. "Replacement steering shaft").	4. Remove the outer tie-rod from the steering knuckle (see. "Replacing the outer tie rod").


5. Remove the catalytic converter (see. "Replacement catalytic converter") ...	6. ... and silencer exhaust system (see. "Replacement of the additional muffler").

7. Remove the front suspension arms (see. "Removing and installing the front suspension arms").

8. Disconnect the telescopic struts front suspension anti-roll bar (see. "Replacement parts stabilizer bar front suspension").


9. Put the engine under the support or post it lifting mechanism, remove the front support of the power unit (see. "Replacement of support of the power train") and protective timber (see. "Replacement of the protective timber").	10. Install the crossmember under the front axle support.

11. Remove the screws from the front suspension cross member left and right side to the body panels slightly lower cross member and disconnect hoses and tubes supplying fluid from the steering mechanism.

12. Remove the front suspension crossmember assembly from the steering and anti-roll bar, unscrew the bolts of the steering mechanism and the stabilizer bar to the crossmember and remove them from the cross.

13. Install the steering gear and stabilizer bar on the cross member and the crossmember to the vehicle in reverse order of removal.
