Replacing the air filter element



Replacing the filter element is regulated - every 30 000 km. However, his condition is dependent on the operating conditions of a vehicle: on a dusty and polluted roads element clogs more quickly.
HELPFUL ADVICE
Periodically between filter element replacements remove and clean it from dust with vigorous shaking or blowing compressed air in the direction opposite to the movement of air during engine operation.

You will need: face head "10" extender knob.

1. Remove the four screws that secure the top of the air filter housing.
2. Undo the spring latch on top of the air filter housing.

3. Lift the top of the air filter housing, as shown in the photos ...
4. ... and pull out the filter element housing.
5. If necessary, remove dust and dirt from the air filter housing.
6. Insert the new filter element housing.
NOTE
Replacing the air filter element
The rectangular shape of the filter element conforms to the shape of the air filter, so the incorrect installation of the element is excluded.

7. Install the parts in reverse order of removal.
