Engine overheating

If the pointer moves into the red zone only briefly, it is normal for the following operating modes: at maximum speed, uphill or column in hot weather, after stopping the hot engine, in the "tube" in a car with an automatic gearbox (due to the oil cooler transmission - in order to prevent this it is necessary to translate the often arm mode N).
If the temperature gauge is in the red zone, you have to stop, turn off the engine and check the following:
- The integrity of the drive belt the coolant pump;
- The level of the coolant;
- Check the thermostat, if it is jamming the radiator will be noticeably cooler thermostat housing;
- Turn on the fan.
If all the checks did not reveal any faults, clogged radiator, and should be replaced.
