In Fig. 242 shows front spring mount. Before starting work, should prepare a solid wooden beam corresponding to the length of the springs. In addition, it requires a stripper fingers to release the ball joint tie rod, rolling jack trolley and a hydraulic jack. When removing the springs, proceed as follows:

|
- To raise the front of the car jack and both sides remove the two bolts of the six mounting brackets, as shown in Fig. 243. After that, the car again to lower the wheels;
Note If you do not turn the screws in that order, then they can not be removed. |
- Remove the caps and loosen the wheel bolts; - To raise the front of the car and establish on support, as has been shown before; - Remove the wheel; - Remove the brake caliper and tie wire so it does not hang on the brake hose; - Disconnect the tie rod from the steering knuckle arm; - Set podkatnye (hydraulic) jack under the control arm and raise it by about 10 mm; - Unscrew the shock absorber from the knuckle, as previously described. Again, lower wishbone; - Unscrew the upper arm (three bolts). If the anti-roll bar, remove the bracket attached to the stabilizer and take it up; - Unscrew the bolts and knock arm at the back. The same is done with the front bracket, and then remove the wishbone; - To substitute the jack under the middle of the front spring. This is best suited hydraulic jack; - On the lower side to turn on the remaining four central screws on both mounting brackets 6 and 9 (see. Fig. 242), slowly lower the jack. The assistant should hold the springs on one side. Then remove the springs pull in any direction. When installing the front spring, proceed as follows: - Mark the center of the front axle springs and felt-tip pen;

- Pasted on the upper spring rubber pad 1 and 3 with the holders and put in apertures supporting beam. When installing pay attention to the correct installation and colors of pillows. Black is set by the driver, red - on the passenger side. In Fig. 244 shows that the pads must be arranged with the smooth side down (arrow); - To put on the ends of the spring rubber pad 1 and 3 (see. Fig. 242) grease and insert up to the stop on both sides. Beveled side pads should be facing up; - The ends of the springs with rubber pads inserted into the holes wishbone. This marked a felt pen on the center line of springs and axle beam must coincide. To the rubber tip is easier to insert, they can be lubricated with petroleum jelly (the oil can damage the tire!);

- Wooden beam put on the jack to both ends touched all springs (Fig. 245), and raise the jack until abut the top cushion; - Substitute rolling jack under the wishbone, set in position and put it in front of the bar eye. Set inside the bolt and secure with a nut and washer. Tighten the nut by hand. Then lower the jack; - Take the lever back and enter the second post in the eye. Align the holes, insert the bolt and tighten the nut and washer; - Set an upper mounting bracket and tighten the bolts to 40-50 N ? m; - Bring strut-to-knuckle and tighten the four bolts to 300-320 Nm; - Attach a tie rod, tighten the nut torque 120 130 Nm; - Set the brake caliper. Bolts tightened to 175-205 Nm; - Set the wheels, tighten bolts of 160-180 Nm. Generally described the work carried out on the lift or pit. Otherwise, the workspace in the performance of these operations is very limited;

- Wrapped in turn four central bolt (Fig. 247) and screw on the hands in a circle, without tightening before the end. Indicated by the arrow in Fig. 246 bolt tightened to 140-160 Nm; - Insert the appropriate pin in the mounting bracket (see. Fig. 247), and combine it with the upper threaded hole (sleeve is not installed). Tighten the four central bolts to 65-75 N ? m; - Remove the pin, insert a bolt from the sleeve and tighten to 140-160 Nm;
- Roll back the vehicle about 1 meter forward, then back, shake a few times. Tighten the control arm in the areas shown in Fig. 248, point 130-150 Nm; - Repeatedly press the brake pedal to a satisfactory system pressure.
