Removing and installing rear springs



Removing the rear springs should be carried out as follows:
- Remove the cap, unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel;
- To substitute the jack under the center of the rear axle and a little lift, leaving under load;

- Unscrew the nuts ladders (Fig. 253);
- Slightly lower the jack, knock up a stepladder and remove the vacated pad;
- Lower the jack so that the spring freely hung on hangers;
- Unscrew the nut of the front suspension springs and knock the bolt. Suspension should be kept to bolt after knocking she did not fall;
- In the same way to turn away a fastening spring on the other side and remove the spring. At the same time it must hold the helper, as it may fall. Caution: the possibility of injury;
- Unscrew the mounting spring shackle.

Note
When you subsequently install or replace the spring with a new pay attention to the correct position - the front mounting hole more.

In the case of rupture of one of the spring sheets, contact the service station and find out whether you need to replace the sheet or the entire spring. Rubber sleeve spring and earrings can be replaced by pre-extruded them. When pressing to facilitate moisten the new bushings with soapy water.
Spring installation should be performed in reverse order with the following:
- Secure spring blades to the ring and set it so that the distance between the centers of the mounting holes in the front of the spring and of the earring is 1470 mm. Using an assistant who must hold the shackle in a position to tighten the bolt and its fastening nut to the torque spring blades 75-85 Nm;

- Attach the springs to the spar. Bolts tighten springs on the car standing on wheels to rubber bushings were under load. Torque specified on Fig. 252.
