Check shock absorbers
Shock absorbers do not fail instantly, their performance gradually decreases. Therefore, usually, their failure is not easily noticed. Practice tells us that by the time the two sets of tires wear efficiency of shock absorbers is already about 50% of the original and should be replaced. Accurate data about the state of the shock absorbers on a special stand is obtained which provides a chart of their operation. These stands are equipped with service centers. There are several ways to determine the wear of shock absorbers: - Beating the steering caused by the loss of a reliable constant contact with the road wheels; - Body movements when traveling through irregularities; "Floating" behavior of the car when cornering, because the inner wheel turning radius insufficiently pressed to the road and tire appearance, on the contrary, not enough is depreciated; - Intermittent trail braking during emergency braking because of the shaking of the wheels (for vehicles with ABS, this effect is suppressed by the anti-lock system); - Uneven and increased tire wear.
