Fastening the pump to the various different versions. Therefore, the following description should be correlated with the recommendations set by the type of engine. In Fig. 264 shows the location of the pump in the non-turbo diesel engine. In Fig. 265 pump is shown in turbocharged engines. To get started, it is necessary to release the front of the vehicle. Shoot power-steering pump must be in the following order:

- Unscrew the cap of the hydraulic booster tank (see. Fig. 263) and to pump fluid from the hydraulic system. It does not spill liquid on the painted parts of the car. For pumping best rubber bag, the tip of which is lowered into the tank; - Loosen the union nut of the flexible hose 1 (see. Fig. 264 and 265) of high pressure. Under it is a sealing ring. When assembling the nut tightening torque 35-40 Nm; - Unscrew the screws power steering pump pulley 3, keeping a pulley from turning. For petrol and diesel engines without turbocharging first remove the air intake hose; - Remove the drive belt (see. Sec. "Cooling System") and remove the pulley; - Unscrew the pump 4. To remove it and drain it are the remains of the liquid. The assembly is carried out in reverse order. Pump bolts tightened to 21 Nm, pulley bolts - torque 30 Nm. After the end of the assembly to fill the liquid in the system, as described above, and bleed.
