Removing and installing front seat

1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable of the battery when the ignition is off. You must first remove the air filter box of the passenger compartment.

Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio security code, if any, address to Section Replacement of the battery.

2. Lower the head restraint and steering wheel.
3. Slide the seat completely forward.

4. Remove the cover over the tip of the belt. Remove the bolt at the tip.

5. Remove the 2 screws at the back of the seat rails.

6. Slide the seat all the way back. If you have a fire extinguisher, pull it out of the holder and remove the two screws from the front seat rails.

7. Disconnect the connectors (1) and (2) under the seat.

8. Remove the seat.

1. Install the seat into place. At the same time the locking pin from the seat rails must be in the hole.
2. Dock connectors under the seat.
3. Secure the seat rails front and rear torque 50 nm.
4. Secure the bolt tip belt torque 30Nm.
5. Replace the cover.
6. Install a fire extinguisher in the holder.
7. Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery when the ignition is switched off. Replace the cabin air filter box. Enter the code of the radio and set the time on the clock.
