1. If the check carried out in accordance with the recommendations in Chapter Routine maintenance, you find damage on any hose, it should be replaced. 2. Drain the cooling system (see Chapter Routine maintenance). If you are not going to fill a new liquid in system, keep merged for later use. 3. Squeeze the pliers antennae staff clamps (or screwdriver to loosen the screw clamps screw-type - if installed). Pull the clamps to the side. Carefully remove the hose from the nozzle. The new hoses are much easier to remove the old ones. 4. If the hose is removed from the socket, try rotating the it. Do not damage the pipes, trying to remove the hose. Damage can result in costly repairs. Keep in mind that the radiator pipes rather fragile, so when removing them from the hose, do not apply a lot of effort. If the hose is still not removed, cut it, then cut left on a piece of pipe along and remove. The cost of the new hose is not comparable to the cost of a new radiator. Before cutting the hose, make sure that you can buy a new one. 5. When installing a new hose, first put the clamps on him, and then install the hose to the nipples. If you originally installed clamps clamping type, replace them with screws. To facilitate the installation of rigid hoses moisten the internal surfaces of the ends with soapy water or heating in hot water (do not immerse the hose in boiling water - it can exfoliate). 6. After installing the hose fittings, check the correctness of its installation in the engine compartment. Set the clamps on the ends of the hose, the head of them for flaring pipes, and tighten them. 7. Fill the cooling system (see Chapter Routine maintenance). 8. Start the engine and make sure there are no leaks of coolant from the unit serviced. |
