Service switch power state
Models of early years of release (with petrol distances of 4.2 liter and 3.0 liter) | - Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
 | - Using a small screwdriver, carefully remove the cover switch on the gear lever (see. Accompanying illustration).

- Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the switch from the lever.
- Check for continuity between the terminals of the connector. When the POWER switch conductivity should take place at position AUTO - no. If necessary, replace the switch.
- Installation is in the reverse order.

Models of late years of release 4.2 liter EFI |  | - Small screwdriver, gently pry the switch, freeing him from the center of the instrument panel (see. Accompanying illustration).

- Disconnect the wiring and remove the switch from the car.
- Test the switch:
- In position POWER conductivity should take place between the terminals 2 and 7 of the switch.
- HOLD position must have a conductivity between terminals 2 and 3.
- If necessary, replace the switch.
- Installation is in the reverse order.
