Fuses, relays and fuses

Check and replace the fuse

To replace a failed fuse with a corresponding at rated current (see. Markings on the body of the fuse). Installing the fuse of higher current can cause damage to electrical wiring and fire.

Mounting the fuse box models with right-hand drive is located under the right corner of the instrument panel (see. Accompanying illustration).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the cover from the mounting block and Study the information on it to locate the fuse protection of various circuits.
  2. Remove the fuse from the slot in the unit and visually inspect its condition.
  3. In the absence of external signs of damage Check the fuse in the presence of conductivity using an ohmmeter or a lamp-sampler.
  4. Defect fuses to replace corresponding to the parameters.
  5. If you replace the fuse circuit still does not function or the new fuse immediately fails, check the chain for the presence of a short circuit, or consult a qualified electrician.

Check and replacement of fuse-links

To replace the fuse, use only firm manufacturing and insert the same parameters. Installation inserts, designed for higher current can cause damage to electrical wiring and fire. A new fuse should only be installed after finding and removing the causes of failure of the old one.

The main fuse (s) located on a bracket near the battery (see. Accompanying illustration).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Disconnect the fuse-link.
  3. Check the box for external signs of overheating.
  4. With proper external state check box in the presence of conductivity using an ohmmeter or a lamp-sampler.
  5. The failed insert, replace the new battery and connect Check the operation of the corresponding circuit.
  6. If the contour is still functioning, or a new insertion immediately fails, check the chain for the presence of a short circuit, or seek help from a professional electrician.

Location relays

Electrical relay systems are located at different points of the vehicle.

Relay auxiliary accessories, ignition systems and heating systems are located in the fuse box mounting. Other relays are secured in a metal cover close to the battery (see. Accompanying illustration).

Identification of the location of each relay is applied to the reverse side of the cover.

Timer door lock, circuit breaker and power window switch located behind the glove box.
