Adjusting the clutch

Clutch parts

1 - a flywheel
2 - driven disk
3 - bolts 22 - 29 N ??? m

4 - clutch basket
5 - the gearbox output shaft

It may take two adjustments - adjust the height of the clutch pedal and the clutch pedal backlash adjustment.

Adjusting the height of the clutch pedal

Pedal height "H" (see. Illustration below) should be 159.5 - 169.5 mm. To adjust, loosen the nut (2) Pedal (3) and slide the fence until the height does not match the required value. Tighten the lock nut with a force of 16-22 N ??? m.

Elements adjust the clutch pedal

1 - the pedal
2 - locknut
3 - stop bolt pedal
4 - mat
5 - floor insulation
6 - asphalt pad
7 - floor panel
A = clearance pedal
H = height of the pedal

Adjusting the pedal backlash

Items to adjust the clutch cable. Lying gap between the arrows "A" on the release lever must be adjusted by a nut (2) after loosening the lock nut (1).

Pedal free play must be adjusted, if the clutch is bad off, or after the installation of new parts. Guided by the above illustration:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Loosen the lock nut (1) and move the adjusting nut (2) on the inner side of the fork, until the gap A between the arrows will not lie in the range of 2.5 to 3.5 mm.
  2. Again, tighten the locknut (1).
  3. Several times the clutch pedal and check the play again.
