Disengaging mechanism
| - Remove the power unit and disconnect the transmission from the engine (Chapter Engine), or remove a transmission (Chapter Manual transmission, differential and the main transfer).
- Disconnect the clips from the clutch release bearing on the inner side of the clutch, make sure they are installed.
- Remove the release bearing.
- Turn the shaft of the clutch until both locking pins do not occupy the position shown in the illustration.

- Knock pins suitable rod.
- Pull off the shaft and remove the plug from the return spring on the inside.
- Check release bearing for wear or damage, keeping the outer race in the hand and rotating the inner ring from side to side while pressing it. Tight space, noise or excessive backlash require the installation of a new bearing.
- Install the spring with a new grease inside the bearing and the bearing groove. Also lubricate the seat touching the clutch lever and the bearing and shaft clutch. Install the shaft and the release fork in the reverse order. Hook the spring off the shaft on the inside so that both ends of the springs are arranged according to the illustration above. Lubricate the sliding surface of the front cover, slide the release bearing and secure the two spring latches.
- Reinstall the power unit (Chapter Engine), or establish a transmission if it acted alone.
