Basic information. On engines ABU, ABD, AEA oil pump and oil receiver located on the crankcase by the timing; drive the oil pump is driven by the crankshaft chain drive (Fig. 2.43).

On engines AEK, AAM, ABS, ADZ, ADY, 2E, ABF oil pump and drains are in the pan (Fig. 2.44). It is driven by an intermediate shaft. In carrying out operations with oil pump it is assumed that the pan is removed from the crankcase. Removal / installation of the oil pump on the engines ABU, ABD and AEA as follows: - Remove the front (on the drive side of a camshaft) the seal of the crankshaft; - Remove the oil pump bolts, remove them and remove the chain guide; - Remove the screws that secure the oil receiver is attached to the bracket housing; - Disconnect the pump sprocket from the drive chain and remove the oil pump and the oil receiver to the engine; - Assembly is carried out in reverse order with the mandatory replacement of the O-ring seal and the crankshaft. After installation of the oil pump drive chain tension swipe by the position of the pump housing. To remove the oil pump on the engines of the AJC, AAM, ABS, ADZ, ADY, 2E, ABF: - Remove the bolts that the oil pump is attached to the bottom of the crankcase; - Remove the oil pump and the oil receiver to the crankcase; - If by design, remove the valve stem bulkhead; - Installation in reverse order with the mandatory replacement of the sealing ring.
