If the cylinder head has been removed, do the preparatory measures described for the removal / installation of the cylinder head. Proceed as follows: - If the Vehicles With the air conditioner, remove the reservoir fluid conditioner and leave it on the front crossmember of the engine. Then let go of the condenser refrigerant piping attachment. Next, release the air conditioning compressor and also leave it on the front crossmember of the engine. Be careful: during the engine overhaul, make sure that the hoses do not bend refrigerator air conditioner or pinched; - Remove the bottom mudguard of the engine, remove the plastic covers from the wheel arches. It is also highly desirable to remove the front bumper, radiator grille, cooling fan, headlights, front side wall and the mechanism of the bonnet - all this will make your job with the engine easier and quicker and ultimately saves time, avoids a number of inconveniences. Also, it is necessary to remove the engine and gearbox assembly from the front of the engine compartment; - If the vehicle is equipped with a massive automatic transmission, provide adequate space, dismantling pulley accessory drive belt;

- Disconnect the connector from the main wiring harness to the engine cylinder block near the gearbox (Fig. 2.2). Disconnect from an onboard network of the car alternator, starter. Depending on the design of the engine management system, disconnect the wiring that is not in the main harness. To ease assembly, mark each connector to ensure correct connection; - If the vehicle is equipped with power steering, you can not drain the power steering system. For this release the fixing screws and clamps that feed and return lines of the amplifier of a steering drive attached to the front crossmember of the engine, and then remove the tank of the power steering fluid and place it next to the battery tray on the beam engine. Next, remove the engine power steering pump with the mounting brackets and place it on the beam of the engine; - If the vehicle is equipped with a manual gearbox, disconnect the wiring from the sensor to the speedometer sensor and reversing; - Disconnect the gearshift from the gearbox. If the vehicle is equipped with a rope clutch, disconnect the cable from the clutch mechanism of the clutch at the front of the gearbox. If the vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic clutch, remove the working brake cylinder clutch with manual transmission; - If the vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission, disconnect the cable from the selector lever at the top of the gearbox, then remove the coolant hoses and disconnect the wiring connectors from the gearbox; - Disconnect drive shafts from the differential output shafts; - Disconnect the exhaust system front pipe from the exhaust manifold; - Disconnect a wire of "weight" of the engine from the body; - Remove the bolts of the engine mounts; - If the engine is removed from the head assembly, attach the lifting device to lifting lugs on the front side of the cylinder head. Slightly raise the engine and tilt it to the rear of the engine compartment so that the front engine mount separated from the front cross beam; - Remove the starter and an arm of a forward support of the engine; - Remove and lower the front crossmember, and then remove the rubber support of the engine block; - During the removal of the motor, be careful: do not let the pulleys touch interior panels of the wings, to prevent damage to the pulley and body paint; - Once again make sure that the unit is disconnected from the power all the necessary elements, then carefully remove the engine assembly with the gearbox through the front opening engine compartment, turning the engine so that the front left that part of the engine where the timing belt.
