Checking the front brake pads

A warning

It is known that the front brake pads on the passenger side wear intensifies, so check the brake pads must be carried out on the right front wheel.

In accordance with the empirical relation, when run of 1000 km the brake pad wear is 1 mm.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Loosen the bolts of the front right wheel and tighten a manual brake, then lift the front of the car and fix on supports. Remove the right front wheel.
	2. Using a caliper, measure the thickness of the brake pads. Minimum thickness of brake pads, together with the carrier plate 7 mm.
3. If the pad brake pad is worn to the minimum thickness necessary to replace all four brake pads as a set.
4. Establish a wheel and lower the car.
