Removal and installation of camshafts

Withdrawal
Remove the engine cover.
Remove the air filter housing with mass flow sensor and connection tube.
Remove ribbed belt.
Remove the EGR cooler and bypass cap (coolant hoses can remain connected) and put them aside
Remove the mount EGR cooler.
Remove the timing belt from the camshaft gears.

Locking hubs via pins
Fig. 2.296. Locking hubs via pins

Remove the fixing bolts 1 and 2 of the camshaft gears (Fig. 2.296).
Remove the camshaft gear from the hub.

Untwisting fixing bolt hub
Fig. 2.314. Untwisting fixing bolt hub

Turn off a fixing bolt 1 of the hub (Fig. 2.314).
To do this, use the counter support.
Turn off fixing bolts of the hub by about 2 turns.

Install the hub puller
Fig. 2.315. Install the hub puller

Install the puller, directing it to the holes of the hub (Fig. 2.315).
Tighten mounting bolts 1.
Remove the hub by evenly tightening the puller 2, resulting in a nave separated from the cone of the camshaft.

NOTE
At the same time fix a stripper with a wrench 30.

Remove the hub from the cone of the camshaft.
Remove the exhaust camshaft hub in a similar manner.
Remove the cylinder head cover.
Remove the pump tandem.

Lock nuts adjusting screws
Fig. 2.316. Lock nuts adjusting screws

Loosen the locknut and the adjusting screws and unscrew the adjusting screws so until the corresponding rocker rests on the spring pusher injectors (Fig. 2.316).
Screw bolts evenly 5-1 outside to the inside and remove the axis of the roller levers.
Remove the mounting bolts inside the back cover of the toothed belt.

The upper mounting bolt of the bypass caps
Fig. 2.317. The upper mounting bolt of the bypass caps

Remove the upper mounting bolt of the bypass cap and EGR cooler (Fig. 2.317).
Remove the cable connection unit injectors and glow plugs.
Evenly screw the 15 remaining bolts from outside to inside the module supports.
Remove the clutch release bolts 15 frames from the hand clockwise until it stops.
Set frame to the module supports as shown, and tighten the fixing bolts 10 to a torque of 10 Nm.

Installation frame
Rotate the clutch release bolts by hand clockwise until it stops in the cylinder head bolts.
Then screw the clutch release bolts evenly in the sequence shown on the bolt head to the separation module supports from the cylinder head.
Remove the module supports.
Remove the camshafts.

Setting
Mount the bearing and the axle roller levers.

NOTE
When installing the camshaft cams for the first cylinder should look up.
Previously exploited bearing shells in some places do not change (when removing the tag).
When installing the camshaft follow the correct installation of lock inserts, socks bearing caps and cylinder head.
On landing bearing surface between the module and the cylinder head, apply a silicone sealant.
Grease a working surface of loose leaves with engine oil.

Order of a tightening of bolts securing camshaft bearing
Fig. 2.318. Order of a tightening of bolts securing camshaft bearing

Uniformly tighten bolts 1-20, starting from the inner, as shown in Figure 2.318. Tightening torque 20 Nm.
Then turn the screws axle roller levers 9 1/4 vol. (90 ?) Fig. 2.316).
Install the camshaft seals.
Install the hub to the camshafts.
Tighten the hub mounting bolts 1 (fig. 2.314). Tightening torque 100 Nm.
To do this, use the counter support.
Install the camshaft gear to the hub.

Position toothed sector
Fig. 2.319. Position toothed sector

NOTE
Toothed sector camshaft sprocket should be at the top (Fig. 2.319).

Insert the arm mounting bolts 1 and 2 without a gap in the camshaft gear (Fig. 2.296).
Secure the hub with locking pin for fuel.
Install toothed belt and adjust valve timing.
Install tandem pump.
Install the cylinder head cover.
Install poly V-belt.

NOTE
After installing the new roller lever can not start the engine for about 30 minutes. The lash shall be deposited (otherwise valves will be in contact with the piston).
